How much will it cost to sit down with
you and have you go over my case with me?
This is an initial consultation and it is free.In addition, you can also feel free to call
me for a free evaluation of your case.
How much of your practice is devoted
to defending people charged with DUI?
Over 90% of my practice is devoted to representing
those who are accused of DUI.
How much do your services cost?
Fees should vary slightly from case to
case. I pride myself in providing quality representation at an affordable price.
I also offer discounts for seniors, veterans and active duty/reserve service members.
After your initially consultation I will quote you a flat fee which include all
representation for your case to include appearing for you at your Department of
Licensing Hearing.
Where are you located?
I have offices located
throughout the
Puget Sound
area for your convenience. I practice primarily in Pierce, King, Thurston and
I can also come directly to your
home or office to meet with you if you prefer.
My
BAC was below the legal limit of .08, can I still be charged with DUI?The
short answered is YES, you can still
be charged. If the officer believes that you were impaired while driving, he/she
may still cite you even though your BAC reading was below the .08 legal threshold.
I was guilty, so should I just plead
guilty when I appear in court? This
is a very
serious matter that you have been charged with. It can seriously impact your future.
Remember, you have important constitutional rights and whether you are guilty or
not, once charged, the burden is on the state to prove your guilt beyond any reasonable
doubt.
The officer
punched my license, am I still able to legally drive?
Yes, your license
is valid for 60 days after your arrest. However, the significance of the officer
punching a hole in your license is that a civil action has been started against
you by the Department of Licensing. Your DUI defense attorney should also be representing
you for that action as well as any criminal proceedings stemming from your DUI arrest.
Will
I be eligible for an occupational license to travel to and from work?
After the first thirty (30) day of your suspension, Washington Law allows you to
apply for an Occupational License.
Will my
case go to trial?
There are many factors which will determine whether or
not your case goes to trial.
Your case
could be dismissed on motion or the subject of a favorable plea bargain.
Know this: I stand ready to take your case to trial before a jury of your
peers if that is what is required to clear your name.
